Kytons Bakery is a proud South Australian institution with roots stretching back to 1938. Now in its ninth decade of operation, the bakery has passed through the hands of three families, with current owners Darren and Sharon Sutton at the helm since 2003. What sets Kytons apart is its commitment to traditional baking methods, combining time-tested recipes with quality ingredients and skilled craftsmanship to produce goods that taste homemade, even when customers haven't spent hours in the kitchen themselves.
The bakery has built a reputation for excellence, earning numerous industry awards along the way. Its signature offerings include lamingtons, hot cross buns, Christmas puddings and fruit mince pies, alongside a broader range of pies, waffles, cookies and slices. Beyond retail shelves and its Edwardstown storefront, Kytons supplies food service companies, contract bakes for other businesses, and supports community fundraising efforts, making it a versatile and beloved name in South Australian baking.
