Our story

Mountain Fresh began in the 1950s when Rudi Stadler and his family moved from Germany to South Australia, bringing generations of fruit juice-making expertise. Settling in Mount Compass, they began crafting fresh apple juice reminiscent of their European home.

What started as small-scale production for family and friends quickly gained popularity through word-of-mouth, transforming a modest family passion into Mountain Fresh.

For over 50 years, the company has remained proudly family-owned. The Stadler family continues to uphold their founding values—honesty, hard work, and respect for nature—by using quality fruit and avoiding artificial additives. Today, their pure juices are enjoyed globally, yet every bottle still traces its roots back to Mount Compass, where family tradition and a love of natural fruit inspire everything they do.
