Our story

Hi, I'm Norma — chilli grower, and maker of award-winning small-batch condiments from South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.

My chilli journey began out of necessity. After a period of illness that specialists couldn't resolve, I stripped back to basics, cutting out processed foods and growing my own produce, starting with jalapeños (the inspiration behind my business name).

What began as flavour for a plain diet became a full-blown passion. Today I grow a diverse range of chilli varieties and craft them into an ever-expanding lineup of mustards, jams, sauces, pastes, pickles, relishes, chutneys, salts, dukkah, rubs, mixes, and confectionery, all made with natural and local ingredients wherever possible.

I believe life is best lived with both purpose and passion. Every product on this cart is made with the same care I bring to my patients.
